Using their Pipe-Klean® chemical cleaning process HERC Products has rehabilitated the piping systems on a long list of U.S. Navy and Coast Guard vessels. Some of the systems include Bilge and Ballast, Black & Gray Water, Heat Exchangers, Fire Protection, Wash Down, Potable Water, and Cooling Water.
The Pipe-Klean® process is NSF certified, and will not harm the system materials so, it is safe for pipes and people. Videotaped analysis of the system interior documents the thorough cleaning. HERC's Pipe-Klean® process is less disruptive than hydro-blasting or mechanical cleaning and can be performed at sea.
